Lindsay is grateful to be able to say she has many homes.
Born in New York, she attended Northeastern University. For five years she lived in Boston, Mass., where she started in photojournalism by interning for the Worcester Telegram and Gazette and working for area photographers.
Moving halfway across the country for her job, Lindsay began her post-collegiate career in Portsmouth, Ohio, on the Kentucky border, for the Portsmouth Daily Times. Her time in middle-America continued with her position with Gannett newspapers first in Chillicothe, Ohio, then Lancaster, Ohio, until her career brought her back to the northeast.
She currently resides in Stamford, Conn., where she works for Hearst with the Stamford Advocate.
Lindsay has been honored with many awards throughout her career, including those for her work on long-term projects exploring in-depth issues such as prisoner release and organ donation.
